I would like to take a moment to recommend Johan Grobler and his associates for their professional services. My son, nephew, best friend and myself went on safari with them and had an experience that words can hardly describe. We started our journey from Minnesota. A stop in London and off to Johannesburg. The accommodations were 10 star, pool to cool off in, beers and man talk. The food experience was indescribable. We ate some of what we shot, and some other meats our hosts provided. It is not a good place to start a diet. We never went hungry or thirsty. Next morning the hunting began. We all had decided what we wanted to shot and broke into 2 groups. The guides were truly very good at their jobs. They would help us identify and size the horns. I shot a gold class impala that morning. What an experience. Then we were off for my friend. As we drove, we came across a huge Nyala that he said has his name on, it did. He harvested the animal. A would also harvest a beautiful white blesbok. I shot a little low and took off his front leg. So off the guide and I traveled on foot and caught up and harvested him. So, in the meantime, my son has harvested a beautiful wildebeest. My friend has taken a blesbok and a huge waterbuck. This is the stuff dreams are made of. We saw wildlife, scenery, fauna that was new to us. Our interest was always peaked and our guides and hosts very knowledgeable about everything. We spent the last 4 days going through Kruger National Park with George and Sonya as our host and hostess. 10 stars again. We saw everything but a cheetah in the park. Wonderful experience. Johan and his group is the total package. They do everything with class and style. You just have to show up and begin your dreams. It doesn’t get any better that these people.
